ASRB Selection Process
The selection process varies for different positions under the ASRB combined examination:
- ASRB NET: Based on a single online objective-type examination. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks to be declared NET-qualified.
- ARS (Agricultural Research Service):
- Preliminary Exam: Objective type, qualifying in nature.
- Mains Exam: Descriptive type.
- Viva-Voce: For candidates who qualify in the Mains.
- Final Merit: Based on aggregate marks of Mains and Viva-Voce.
- SMS (T-6) & STO (T-6): Based on a single online objective-type examination followed by an Interview. The final selection is based on the aggregate marks obtained in the online test and interview.
